MCB Bank Limited has maintained its AA+ and A1+ ratings with Pakistan Credit Rating Agency for both long term and Short term entity ratings respectively. These ratings indicate a very low risk generated; from strong fulfillment of financial commitments thru’ timely payments.
These ratings reflect the MCB’s strong position as market leader due to its established brand and vast branch network having necessary technology infrastructure. The bank is also not only maintaining its low cost deposit base and also growing it more than its competitors. These ratings also depict the bank’s strong financial position having sound liquidity, stable capitalization and robust profitability.
Despite of the following a very cautious & traditional lending strategy the bank is being able to maintain its good quality assets. These ratings depend on bank’s stability for upholding its strong position in banking industry. Maintaining good quality assets while reviewing and improving the Risk management system at the same time keeping in view the changing market conditions would always remain important for the bank’s management for facing the future challenges.
