Asian Development Bank will offer Pakistan $2 bln emergency loan for flood victims. This loan will help rehabilitating the flood victims and rebuilding the destroyed infrastructure. The ADB is also planning to setup a Trust Fund. The Asian Development Bank’s officials will work in close contact with World Bank and Pakistani officials to determine the damages caused by the flood by the end of September. The Bank’s Director General for Central and West Asia has said that they are willing to provide minimum $2 billion for reconstruction purposes. So far this can be considered as the largest pledge loan about to be offered to Pakistan.  The World Bank has offered to provide $900 million to finance reconstruction activities.
